لا شيء يثير حزنه أكثر من الشعور بأن الوقت يمر وأن المستقبل يبدو أكثر فأكثر غير مؤكد دون حتى وعود غامضة. لكن كيف تعلم الصبر اذا افترضنا أنه صبور؟ لا يزال صدى الدعاء يتردد في فكره التائه. يمكنه فقط الاستسلام للانتظار. هذا هو كل ما تبقى من قوته للسيطرة على الأشياء. ومن يعلم الغيب الا الله؟

À la fin de la partie 5/10, Samil parle de la fin du cercle vicieux de solitude et de désespoir en disant qu’il a vu des signes de début d’une vie nouvelle dans cette ville densément peuplée. Il s’est en effet lié d’amititié avec plusieurs camarades de classe avec lesquels il partage des goûts communs et des manières de voir quasi identiques le monde qui les entoure et en tant que jeunes. Cependant, Samil est né et a vécu en milieu rural dont il est imprégné des normes et des valeurs. Ce milieu est cher à son cœur et le rend constamment nostalgique et enclin à la générosité et à la solidarité. Parmi ses nombreux amis, un vient du sud du pays et un autre habite à une trentaine de kilomètres de chez lui et dans ce que Samil appelle le prince des collines qui est en fait une grande rivière. En hiver, à cause des fortes précipitations, cette rivière déborde de son lit et emporte tout sur son passage y compris des animaux et même des individus dont une femme que plusieurs personnes considéraient comme étant atteinte de folie.

Choc, humiliation et frustration

Voici ce que raconte Samil quand il parle de la fin des années 1960. Il avait environ douze ans à l’époque, âge auquel on commence à s’intéresser à son environnement et les événements qui sont susceptibles de le transformer :“Parmi mes souvenirs les plus tristes, il y a ce jour maudit où les peuples arabes ont appris la défaite militaire de trois pays du Moyen Orient. Quel choc! Quelle humiliation! Et vous croyez que l’histoire ne se répète pas? Alors, regardez notre géographie. Regardez nos camps de réfugiés. En ces temps, nos portes étaient ouvertes et on nous a même contraint de les ouvrir et des centaines de milliers de parasites se sont glissés dans notre tissu.”

Une étape de la socialisation de Samil

Samil a commencé à aller dans des cafés et à fumer. Personne ne lui a dit qu’il deviendrait accro à la cigarette si rapidement. Malheureusement, le sevrage tabagique a échoué. Par conséquent, le groupe de pairs n’a pas toujours des effets bénéfiques sur ses membres. Samil commence à attacher au divertissement de l’importance à l’instar de ses jeunes pairs.

في نهاية الجزء 5/10 يتحدث سميل عن نهاية الحلقة المفرغة من الوحدة واليأس قائلاً إنه رأى بوادر بداية حياة جديدة في هذه المدينة المكتظة بالسكان. لقد أقام بالفعل صداقة مع العديد من زملائه في الفصل الذين يتقاسم معهم أذواق مشتركة وطرق متطابقة تقريبًا لرؤية العالم من حولهم وكشباب.

سميل في مرحلة من التنشئة الاجتماعية

تعود على ارتياد المقاهي والتدخين. لم يخبره أحد أنه سيصبح مدمنا على السجائر بسرعة. لسوء الحظ، فشل الإقلاع عن التدخين. لذلك ، ليس لمجموعة الأقران دائما تأثيرات مفيدة على أعضائها. لكن الطرق في المدينة حيث يعتقد الناس بأنهم يتمتعون بالحرية، مليئة بالمزالق وأحيانًا تؤدي إلى طرق مسدودة.

At the end of Part 5/10, Samil talks about the end of the vicious cycle of loneliness and despair saying that he has seen signs of the start of a new life in this densely populated city. He has indeed befriended several classmates with whom he shares common tastes and almost identical ways of seeing the world around them and as young people.

However, Samil was born and lived in a rural environment imbued with standards and values. This environment is dear to his heart and makes him constantly nostalgic and inclined to generosity and solidarity. Among his many friends, one comes from the south of the country and another lives about thirty kilometers from his home and in what Samil calls the prince of the hills which is in fact a large river. In winter, because of heavy precipitation, this river overflows its bed and carries everything in its path including animals and even individuals including a woman whom many people considered to be suffering from insanity.

Shock, frustration and humiliation

This is what Samil says when he talks about the end of the 1960s. He was about twelve years old at the time, when we begin to take an interest in his environment and the events that are likely to transform it : “Among my saddest memories is that cursed day when the Arab peoples learned of the military defeat of three countries in the Middle East. What a shock! What humiliation! And do you think history doesn’t repeat itself? So take a look at our geography. Look at our refugee camps.

In those days our doors were open and we were even forced to open them and hundreds of thousands of parasites crept into our fabric. »

A step in Samil’s socialization

Samil started going to cafes and smoking. No one told him that he would quickly become addicted to cigarettes. Unfortunately, smoking cessation has failed. So, the pair group does not always have beneficial effects on its members. Samil began to grant importance to entertainment like his young peers.But the roads in the city where people have the impression they can enjoy freedom, are full of pitfalls and sometimes lead to dead ends.
