I met with M. for the first time in the eighties. He showed me some reservations during that meeting for ambiguous reasons. I wrongly juged his character from his outward appearance. Clothes don’t make the man or so the saying goes. However, my impression was perhaps baseless and since then a mutual understanding has been established between us.
