هذه المهنة لا تناسبه. كان من الممكن أن تكون هذه الوظيفة مضيعة للمهارات. كانت الروح النقدية التي كان يميل إلى إظهارها غير متوافقة تماما مع العقلية العسكرية. لا أستطيع أن أتخيل طاعة م لأوامر غبية أو إطلاق النار على جنود أو مدنيين لإرضاء أهواء رؤسائه. كان التدريس مناسبا له بشكل أفضل لأن شغفه بنقل المعرفة ومن خلال طرق التدريس المناسبة لا حدود له.
ونجد في تفكيره جميع مميزات التفكير الناقد. اضف الى ذلك نقده اللاذع للغاية على الممارسات الاجتماعية للمواطنين وسلوكهم. لا يمكنك مقاومة الرغبة في الضحك عندما تستمع اليه. م يقرأ الكثير من الكتب وحوارنا وجدالنا غالبا ما يكون موضوعهما الفلاسفة والمفكرين بشكل عام. كانت قراءاته الأخيرة عن تشارلز داروين. لديه معرفة عميقة بالمؤلفين والكتاب والفلاسفة. القراءة هي إحدى اهتماماته ويجيد اللغة العربية.التقاعد الطويل والمبارك الذي أتمنى له سيسمح له أن يعيش هذه المشاعر الجميلة على أكمل وجه. علاوة على ذلك ، فهو حريص جدًا على نقل ومشاركة شغفه بالقراءة.

M first worked in the army for a few years and then realized that this profession did not suit him. The critical spirit he tended to show was totally incompatible with the military mentality. I can’t imagine M obeying stupid orders or shooting soldiers or civilians to satisfy the whims of his superiors. It would have been such waste of skills. However, teaching suited him better because his passion for imparting knowledge through appropriate teaching methods was limitless.
M applys critical thinking skills to social situations and exercises a very acerbic critical spirit on the social practices of his fellow citizens and their behavior. You can’t resist the urge to laugh when you hear him. He reads a lot of books and the conversations we had often relate to philosophers and thinkers in general. His last readings were about Charles Darwin. He has a very in-depth knowledge of authors, writers and philosophers. Reading is one of his passions and he’s fluent in Arabic. The long and peaceful retirement that I wish him will allow him to live these beautiful passions to the full. What’s more, he’s very keen on conveying and sharing his passion for reading. I was very honored to meet him.
