كانت السماء فوق ريف الشاوية زرقاء ، في افريقيا الشمالية الجذابة، وباستثناء أزيز الحشرات ، كان هناك صمت يفضي إلى التأمل.
كنت أسير ببطء شديد نحو بستان الزيتون بحثا عن الظل عندما رأيت حلزونات صغيرة بقذائف بيضاء تلتصق بأغصان نبات أخضر في كل مكان. تمايلت الفروع في نسيم بارد في حرارة الصيف الحارقة. المناظر الطبيعية جميلة للغاية. إنها جافة بالتأكيد ولكن السماء زرقاء والطيور كانت تطير في كل الاتجاهات ربما عشوائيا أو تشعر بخطر غامض ولكنه وشيك بسبب وجود طيور جارحة. هذا العام ، كان الحصاد ضعيفا في منطقتنا. لقد تكبد مزارعونا تكاليف (بذور وفوسفات ونفقات أخرى). وهم ملزمون بتسديد ديونهم والاهتمام بماشيتهم. لذا فهم يتكبدون خسائر لكنهم إذا اشتكوا في قلوبهم يعرفون أنها الإرادة الإلهية. نحن نعلم على وجه اليقين أنه لا يوجد شيء يمكنهم فعله حيال ذلك سوى الصبر. أنا أعرف ما قد يمرون به. يمكن للأشياء أن ترقى إلى حد الألم والضيق والحرمان. إنهم يشعرون باليأس وعدم الاهتمام بهم وأحيانا ينفذ صبرهم. لكن دعوا المومنين يتذكرون ما يقول الله تعالى جده في القرآن الكريم: » ﴿ اللَّهُ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ وَيَقْدِرُ لَهُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ﴾ .[ العنكبوت: 62]. وأخيرا لا ننسى ان أعضاء المجتمعات الإسلامية يدعمون بعضهم البعض ويمكن أن يخفف ذلك من المعاناة.
English/ The farmer and nature
The skies over the attractive Chaouia countryside were blue and, except for the buzzing of insects, there was a silence conducive to meditation.
I was walking quite slowly towards the olive grove in search of shade when I saw small snails with white shells covering the branches of a green plant everywhere. The branches swayed in a cooling breeze in the scorching summer heat. The landscape is absolutely beautiful. It is certainly dry but the sky is blue and the birds were flying in all directions perhaps randomly or sensing a vague but imminent danger because of the presence of predatory birds. This year, the harvest was poor in our region. Our farmers had incurred costs (seeds, phosphates and other expenses). Moreover, they have to pay back their debts and attend to their livestock. So, they suffer losses but if they complain, in their heart of hearts, they know that it is the divine will. We know for sure that there is nothing they can do about it but patience. I know what they might go through. Things could amount to angish and hardship and deprivations. they feel despondent and not taken care of and sometimes they loose patience and hope. But let the believers remember what God Almighty says in the Holy Quran: « Allah enlarges the provision for whom He wills of His servants, and straitens it for whom (He wills). Verily, Allah is the All-Knower of everything. » To conclude, muslim socities members support each other and that could ease the pain.
